About Hudson

The Hudson Belk building was a hub of commerce in downtown Raleigh for more than seven decades before closing its doors in 1995. And now, this glorious landmark has been brought back to life and is the new home of both residential and commercial residents...

Now known as "HUDSON", the building has been renovated to capture the exterior style and grace it exuded during the 1930s and houses 64 extraordinary one, two and three bedroom homes. These remarkable living spaces offer ceilings up to 14 feet, glass block exterior walls in bedrooms, operable living room windows, designer kitchens with stainless steel appliances, solid surface countertops, concrete floors and more!

Hudson residents have access to amenities such as wireless internet, private elevator access to residents, monitored garage, elevator and home security service, and gated parking.

With more than 18,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space below them, Hudson residents have everything they need right at their fingertips. Good food, good shopping and good times. Directly above the retail space, Hudson residentsl enjoy a unique, open-air courtyard that overlooks the urban cityscape of beautiful downtown Raleigh. Hudson is right above all of the new happenings on Fayetteville Street and a place to be for all its events!
