Tyler's Taproom is coming to Seaboard Station

JUN 24, 2011

Tyler Huntington, founder and president of Tyler's restaurants, has announced that the new Tyler's Taproom, planned for Seaboard Station, is now under construction.

The new restaurant will occupy over 10,000 square feet, and will feature a signature Tyler's menu, full bar with over 80 kinds of beer, and a casual "warehouse" atmosphere reminiscent of the Tyler's Taproom at the American Tobacco Complex in Durham.
According to David Diaz, President & CEO of the Downtown Raleigh Alliance, "We welcome Tyler's to downtown Raleigh and look forward to working closely with Mr. Huntington on promoting his new business."
The restaurant will also feature an outdoor deck and bar with seating for 50, which overlooks Peace Street and the State Capitol complex.
We are excited about finally making our Raleigh location a reality" Says Tyler Huntington. "It took a while to get all of the pieces together, but the wait has been worth it. In the end we will have more space, room for private events, and a great patio area."
Raleigh's New City Design Group handled the design effort. "Tyler's will be a great fit for Seaboard" says Ted Van Dyk, Principal at New City. "It's family friendly and has great food, while also offering a new nightlife option for downtown."
The project has been issued a building permit by the City of Raleigh, and TW Smith Company of Raleigh is mobilizing for construction, which should be complete this fall.
In addition to the Durham location at American Tobacco, Tyler's also has locations in downtown Carrboro, and in Apex at Beaver Creek Crossings.
